Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, creating an account, or using MedsWay, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. We may update these terms from time to time and will notify you in-app when we do.


2. What MedsWay Is

MedsWay is a personal health organization tool. It helps you track medications, supplements, appointments, lab results, health notes, wellness check-ins, and more — for yourself and people you care for.


MedsWay is NOT a medical service. We are not doctors, nurses, pharmacists, or any kind of healthcare provider. Nothing in MedsWay — including AI-generated insights, medication tips, interaction checks, or recovery plans — constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for any medical decisions.


3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use MedsWay

  • If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent

  • Child and pet profiles must be created and managed by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult

  • By using MedsWay, you confirm you meet these requirements


4. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at contact@medswayapp.com.


5. Your Health Data

You own all the health data you enter into MedsWay. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide you with the MedsWay service.


You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. MedsWay displays what you put in — we do not verify, validate, or check the accuracy of your health data.


When you upload documents such as lab results or vaccination records, you confirm you have the right to upload and store that information.


6. Hive (Care Circle)

Hive allows you to invite trusted people to view parts of your health profile. By using Hive:

  • You take full responsibility for who you invite and what you share with them

  • You can remove Hive members and revoke access at any time

  • MedsWay is not responsible for how Hive members use information you share with them

  • Do not share sensitive health information with people you do not fully trust

  • Hive members with view-only access cannot edit your health data


7. AI-Generated Features

MedsWay includes AI-powered features such as medication interaction checks, health insights, tips and tricks, and recovery mode plans. By using these features:

  • You understand that AI-generated content is for informational purposes only

  • You agree not to rely on AI content as a substitute for professional medical advice

  • You understand that AI can make mistakes and outputs should always be verified with a healthcare professional

  • You consent to your prompts being processed by a third-party AI provider as needed to deliver these features


8. Health Reports

MedsWay allows you to generate and export health reports. By using this feature:

  • You are responsible for reviewing your report before sharing it with anyone

  • You understand that reports may contain sensitive personal health information

  • MedsWay is not responsible for information you share outside of the app

  • Reports are for personal use and informational purposes only, not for clinical or diagnostic use


9. Subscriptions

Free Plan

MedsWay offers a free tier with access to core features. See the app for current free plan details.


Premium Plan

A Premium subscription unlocks additional features. Subscriptions are billed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). All billing, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google — MedsWay does not process payments directly.


Cancelling your subscription will not delete your data. You will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period.


10. Referral & Rewards Program

MedsWay may offer a referral program that rewards you for inviting others to the app. Referral rewards are subject to change at any time. Rewards cannot be exchanged for cash. MedsWay reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time.


11. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use MedsWay for any unlawful purpose

  • Attempt to access another user’s account or data without authorization

  • Upload false, misleading, or fraudulent health information

  • Reverse engineer, copy, or replicate any part of the MedsWay app or codebase

  • Use the app in any way that could harm MedsWay or other users


12. Disclaimer of Warranties

MedsWay is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that all features will work perfectly on every device. We are not liable for any loss of data, health outcomes, or decisions made based on information in the app.


13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, MedsWay and its founders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to health outcomes, data loss, or decisions made based on app content.


14. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us at contact@medswayapp.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
